
| INCOMING... Spaghetti Dinner Just Around the Corner | |

On Saturday, April 14, 2007 from 3:00 until 7:00 PM Elizabethtown Chapter will be holding the twelfth annual Charity Spaghetti Dinner fund raiser with proceeds benefiting the Lancaster Valley Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Learning Center for Children. The dinner will be held in the Brossman Ballroom at the Freemason Cultural Center of the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown. The cost of the all-you-can eat dinner, which includes tossed salad, garlic bread, spaghetti, meat sauce, beverage and dessert is $7.00 for adults; $3.00 for children 12 and under; and free for children 5 and under. Advance ticket purchases are recommended; but will be available at the door on April 14th. Meatless sauce will be available for those who prefer such. Supporters of the dinner are invited to be served in the ballroom or to take advantage of the unique Drive-Through Take-Out Service. The dinner is being planned by a committee headed by Mack Kauffman, who is assisted by members Dalton Adams, Quinn Cleis, Ian Krizner, Brendan Setnar and Jeremy Wilt . Advisors assisting with the planning include Lynda and Roger Fry, Deb Setnar, Linda Vulatic, and Gene and Yolanda Weider. Tickets are available from any DeMolay or Advisor and at various locations at the Masonic Village and at the Lancaster Scottish Rite Learning Center, 213 West Chestnut Street in Lancaster. Elizabethtown Chapter, Order of DeMolay has raised nearly $29,000.00 for the Scottish Rite Learning Centers for Children through the annual spaghetti dinners, with the Lancaster Unit of the Learning Centers being the beneficiary for the past seven years. The Learning Centers provide professional treatment, free of charge, to children with dyslexia. The Lancaster Unit is into its fourth year of providing tutoring services to students in the Lancaster County area. |
